Anthem Salgado will not let you believe that artists should be starving. In fact, he’s been hustling himself to preach the gospel of creative entrepreneurship for artists. He has a website, Artofhustle.com, with a wealth of information on money, marketing, management, and mindset and he also has a podcast where he talks with leaders in the field.
Tonight, we share with you Anthem’s interview with Olivia Malabuyo Tablante, grants administrative manager at the Gerbode Foundation, who talks about applying for grants, defining yourself as an artist, making the leap from artist to arts administrator, and fulfilling your life’s purpose.
He is also kicking off a series of online professional development courses. The first program helps artists develop their artist kit, a key component to communicating your story: http://www.artofhustle.com/university/
