On Wednesday, January 16, Oakland Asian Cultural Center has a closing reception for their exhibition: We Are America: Resistance and Resilience.

This exhibition features a 100-year timeline about the civil rights of Filipinos, providing a visual account of Filipino resistance to discrimination and a chronology of the community’s struggle for equality.
