Tonight we will be in conversation with award-winning author, Nayomi Munaweera, about her recently released novel, Island of A Thousand Mirrors that provides an unflinching account of Sri Lanka’s civil war. We’ll then go to Kashmir—the most densely militarized land on earth and speak to Kashmiri journalist about the Indian army recently murdering two young men as they returned home from a religious procession. In addition, we’ll here about conditions in Kashmir after catastrophic floods drenched the region in September. We also have some tickets to give away to the final day of the San Francisco International South Asian Film Festival.
