Apex Express Contributor Preeti Shekar brings us a special interview with musician Micropixie aka MPX , who will be performing in the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival’s Directions in Sound music showcase on March 9, 2012, 9:00 pm at Mighty in San Francisco. Micropixie, a South Asian artivist, is based here in San Francisco. Made in Bombay, born & raised in the UK, and based in SF-Oh!, Micropixie aka MPX is the extra-terrestrial alter ego of writer, film-maker and full-time human being, Single Beige Female. Her first album ALICE IN STEVIE WONDERLAND tells the story of One Little Alien’s mission on Earth to understand what it means to be human. Its sequel THE GOOD, THE BEIGE AND THE UGLY is out now! Also a concept album, its subtitle is: “An Intergalactic Feminist Spy Thriller”.
